The programme is part of of the Radio Netherlands’ Transcription Service series “We made a hoe and went along”, produced in 1986. 

In part 3, an insight into Egyptian civilisation. The programme tries to shed light on the debate of who laid the foundations for the Egyptian realm between 5000 and 3000 BC. Some Western scholars have argued that Egyptian culture has no connection with Africa.
