We possess over 600 letters by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890). Most of them are addressed to his brother Theo, an art dealer, and they contain a priceless record of Vincent’s thoughts about art and life and his aspirations as a painter. They were first published by Theo’s widow in 1914.
