Old trades, new hands: Building a castle in Burgundy

Château Guédelon (© Flickr/Ronny Siegel)

Hélène Michaud visits Guédelon in France where a medieval castle is being built with the same tools and techniques as 800 years ago. The workers are volunteers or people without jobs. The point is to find out first hand how it was done, what problems had to be overcome and in the process teach people a craft. Most of the people involved in this project got hooked on it.
