One of Holland’s leading choreographers talks about what dancing means to him and working with Rudolf Nureyev. Rudi van Dantzig (1993-2012) put Dutch ballet on the map but became more hooked on working with dancers than dance as an art form. He created 50 ballets, 4 of them for Nureyev with whom he developed a special relationship.
