Hélène Michaud reports on an unusual project to help improve bio-diversity in Dutch agriculture. It appears that most of the wheat grown in Holland is not suitable for baking good bread.
Bhutan, with funds made available by the Dutch government, chose to support a plan by Dutch farmers to test the baking potential of wheat varieties that were no longer being cultivated in Holland…with remarkable results.
