My voice belongs to Dada

Jaap Blonk (© Harald Krichel)

The focus of this programme is “sound poetry”, which means the voice produces sounds rather than words. The Dadaists started it all in the 1920’s. Jaap Blonk is a contemporary Dutch “sound poet”. He is featured in the programme, along with archive material from the Dadaists themselves.
