The Royal Concertgebouw is one of the world’s greatest concert halls, renowned for its nearly perfect acoustics, and the host to performances by some of the most memorable musicians of the 20th century: from Gustav Mahler (1860-1911), Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990), Bernard Haitink and Jessye Norman (1945-2015) to Louis Armstrong (1901-1971) and pop music legends. It is also home to one of Europe’s greatest orchestras.
