This award-winning programme tells a trans-Atlantic tale of love, music and politics. It is the story of Leon Perlee and Mercedes Sosa, both of them linked to the wooden street organ. He, a restorer of antique street organs in Holland, and she, the niece of a craftsman in an organ factory in Cuba, fall in love at first sight when they meet in Cuba one day, but will their love win over the laws and restrictions keeping them apart?
