This programme focuses on the NIOD (Dutch Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies) report on the Dutch involvement in the fall of Srebrenica, the worst atrocity in Europe since the end of World War Two. From the lead-up to the dispatch of a Dutch battalion (under UN command) to Bosnia, the massacre in 1995 and its aftermath, we hear from a Dutchbatter as well as from Prime Minister Wim Kok, UN interpreter Hasan Nuhanović, Rolf Uye, a contributor to the report and Mient-Jan Faber, chairman of Pax Christi (IKV).
