Anybody who ever wanted to be a somebody went to New York in search of theatrical fame. Some of the world’s greatest theatrical training institutions are based in the Big Apple, and host Dheera Sujan goes a’ knockin’ on the boards of the Strasberg Institute, which trained Brando and Monroe, the Julliard School of Performing Arts, which has an alumni list that could be confused with a Who’s Who of stars, the LaGuardia School of Performing Arts, immortalised in the movie “Fame” and a comedy training institute. Dheera talks to the staff and students and finds out the stuff of dreams.
