When Kenyan filmmaker Anne Mungai was awarded a prize by UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and asked to make another movie, she chose to make a film about street children. In the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, there are an estimated 120,000 children living on the streets. Her choice was one that would change the course of her life and that of many others. But first, she had to convince the children themselves.
