This is a story of two women, friends since their school days. They are now in their mid 40’s and their lives have moved in opposite directions. Carolijn Visser is a travel writer. She’s spent more than half her life exploring this big round world and spinning her experiences into travel books. Louise van den Ijssel lives with her husband in a small village, where they devote their lives to the care of 80 animals.
Carolijn is always on the go or just back from somewhere. Louise never leaves her house, yet their friendship continues by phone.
