If you were born on January 27, 1756, you are precocious, liable to perform feats of extraordinary virtuosity and may be prone to shouting obscenities in public. We all know about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the great composer, but what about Mozart the great Aquarian? Gary Goldschneider (1939-2019) uses his talents as a best-selling astrologer and composer to offer his reading of Mozart’s music and star sign. To mark the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth, Goldschneider performed all 18 of Mozart’s piano sonatas in a single, six-hour marathon performance in Amsterdam.
