An Israeli woman tracks down the man who shot her in a terrorist attack 23 years ago and works for his release from prison. A young Polish woman travels to Algeria to look for terrorists and falls in love with her Algerian guide. These two unique stories have something in common. Both women filmed their journeys.
The films “My Terrorist” and “The Nameless War” were two of the highlights of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in December. The subject of terrorism has become more immediate than when the directors first began working on their projects. They share their stories with David Swatling in our documentary “Looking for Terrorists.”
