This week marks the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. One of the most pitiful sights to greet the liberators were the concentration camps. Eva Schloss tells her own story – one that ran parallel to the story told in the most famous diary of the war, that of Anne Frank.
Like Anne, Eva was only 15 years old when she arrived at Auschwitz. However, Eva survived her experiences. Later her mother would marry Otto Frank, Anne’s father. Eva’s story takes up where the Anne Frank diary left off. A remarkable tale of survival and love.
