
Hemp can be used for rope, textiles, clothing, shoes and insulation; the seed is edible; the oils can be used in cosmetics and even in cancer and AIDS research. In short, hemp is a very useful product.
There’s just one problem: hemp, also known as cannabis sativa, has a huge image problem. It is invariably mistaken for marijuana, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
