“East of Edam” was a weekly magazine programme and talk show hosted by Dheera Sujan and Maggie Ayre. This edition of the programme features reports on a new lesbian comedy, a film house haunted by ghosts, comic strips and Arab-Jewish reconciliation.
It was broadcast in July 1994, the week that saw the final edition of “Happy Station”, hosted by Pete Myers. So Dheera and Maggie are joined by “Happy Station” co-host Jonathan Groubert for a special tribute to Pete, their mentor and inspiration, towards the end of the programme at around 39’30”.
