In this unedited interview for the programme “Talking it Over”, Chris Chambers talks to Hungarian-born photographer Eva Besnyö (1910-2003), who started taking pictures in 1928. In the 1930’s, she fled to the Netherlands. She went to cover the Spanish Civil War and did the same in Holland during the war. Some of her work is internationally famous. She got involved in the feminist movement in the 60’s and 70’s. In the interview, she talks extensively about her life and work.
