Childless by choice

It’s assumed that just about everybody loves babies and wants to have children. That is, of course, a fallacy. So why do some people never have children? Overpopulation, a dislike of children, the fear of nuclear war, selfishness – all are among the myriad of reasons people chose to refrain from reproducing.

In this documentary, Helen Barrington speaks with childless adults, as well as psychologists and sociologists and discusses the social repercussions of remaining childless by choice.
