This documentary from 2003 was made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of the film Cabaret, and looks at whether the portrayal of Berlin cabaret was anything like the reality of the Weimar republic. Chris Chambers charts its rise and fall as the Nazis take power and as many of the great cabaret stars are forced to flee.
